After a full career in Military Intelligence specialising in security and counter sabotage, Roy joined ICL in 1993 to undertake a computer security management project, followed by joining Nirex as the Corporate Security Manager in 1996 until
2007.
Whilst at Nirex (government owned radioactive waste management company)
Roy also managed the diverse portfolio of Facilities, Property and Business Continuity Planning. Roy is a member of The Security Institute and ASIS International.
Appointed MBE in 1993 for security services to the European Community Monitoring Mission in Yugoslavia.
